Living New-York fast in Moodus



Was lost in memory after coming across your website. I worked as a young teenager for Dave & Saul Klar. Growing up in Moodus and East Hampton was slow, but living on the resort all summer was New-York fast as that was where all staff & guests were from. Ya, it was great back in the mid to late 60's.

Farm-fresh food expertly cooked

Willow Manor, my grandparent's home/hotel, was known for its great Jewish-American food -- everything fresh from the garden, chicken coop, fresh caught fish, etc.expertly cooked by Gussie [grandma] Kleinberg. I grew up there each summer & had an absolute ball. I still visit the site [hotel long gone] once a year when driving through.
